How to stay MOTIVATED!!

It can be hard to stay motivated and positive allllll the time! Who really has time for that, life happens, right?!
But, if you give up. Who is going to do it for you?

These are some of the tips I live by in order to keep focused and achieve my goals!

It may seem like there are not enough hours in the day! Like really..did 24hours just pass up by? BUT, you don’t have to work all day and all night to get things done. Break it up! Do things in stages. This will help you to move at your own pace and get the job done. A little day can make it easier to achieve, then cramming it all into one day!! You need time to eat, shower and breathe!

Positivity is an element and energy you can control. Assess the things around you and think about whether they are serving you, or draining you. Are the people around you supportive and encouraging? Do they push you to achieve or do they drain you and constantly put you down. Are you seeking for positivity in the things you read, the words you say. Do you follow positive and inspiring accounts on social media. You can decide what you allow. So take charge.

Are you setting goals that you can actually achieve? Yes the sky is the limit, but if you can’t even get out of the grass..what’s the point? Start small and work your way up towards the top. You may not achieve it overnight, but that doesn’t mean you will never do it.
Do you know what you want?....and why do you want it? What does it achieve, how does it make a change? What is the purpose. If you can’t answer these questions, there is a high chance, that it isn’t for you.

Yes, reward yourself!! Give yourself a big pat on the back and treat yourself. If you don’t do it, who will? Those shoes you have been working so hard to get, go get them! If you have lost some weight, have a cheeky treat…remember, all in moderation! Let yourself have some fun, and enjoy your achievements, then get back to work.

Do you look at what you have achieved and how you did it? This can be very helpful for achieving more greatness and also accomplishing more.  It is also a great way to change where you may have gone wrong. If you failed at something, why? How can you improve? How are you going to achieve and progress? What could you have done differently. A lot of athletes work towards beating their personal best. You can only do your best, but if you know you are not fulfilling your full potential, then you are failing yourself!

Sometimes, we beat ourselves up so much, that it is hard to uplift ourselves. Yes, you can critic and push yourself, but do not go overboard. Work harder, strive for more and be kind to yourself. You only have you, and if you are constantly beaten up you can’t do your best.

Inspiration is great, comparison isn’t. You are you, that person is that person. You can not be them and you shouldn’t aim to be. The path you live is created for you, and if you keep comparing your life to others, you will be lost. Yes, you can be inspired by others, but that is as far as it goes. Comparison creates unwanted and negative competition.

It will be hard. You will feel like giving up. Times can be stressful, you may feel tired, but DON’T GIVE UP! You are capable of doing great things and if you believe in yourself, it can and will happen. If you give up, who is going to do it for you? Not me. I got thangs to do and so do you!!
